Import or Export Contacts easily in Android

To import or export contacts in android can be a difficult thing to do manually, but android comes with an inbuilt tool to do the hard work for you !

How to Import / Export Contacts :

1. First go to contacts from android home screen.
2. Now from there open the menu using menu button.
3. In the menu select the Import/Export option.
4. Now select the required option from the prompt.
5. Now based on your selected choice a prompt will appear asking you to verify the file name click OK.
6. All done your Contacts will be Exported/Imported.

Remove Un-Removable Widgets in Blogger

Often most bloggers encounter this problem when they install 3rd party templates. But don't worry there is a simple fix for this common problem.

To do this you must have some general knowledge about HTML.

If you want to remove a widget you normally go to Dashboard -> Layout and simply delete a widget form there. But we are talking of a situation when there is no delete button for a widget.

To delete such widgets go to -

Dashboard -> Template -> Edit HTML -> Click Proceed -> Check Expand Widget Template

Now click Ctrl + F to find code b:widget id= .

Now simply find your widget and change its locked='true' parameter to locked='false'.



Now simply delete that widget from the Layout panel like you did for other widgets.



Thats it, now just enjoy the feeling ! :-)

Out there, there are many tool that allow to extract text from images or scanned documents using OCR technique. But if you don't want to install any additional software and simply want to convert a scanned document into Text one then you can definitely go for Google Docs. ( Google Drive )

To extract text form your document -

• First go to Google Docs ( Now Google Drive).
• Now in the right hand side of your screen Click the upload button.
• Now in the upload any scanned document and in the right hand sid an upload menu will be shown.
• In that menu click settings and select Convert text from uploaded PDF or Image File.
• Now see the conversion if its right.

Start Windows With Voice Welcome Message

This is a very cool windows trick and you can do it without any additional software. You just have to type a code in notepad and the trick is successful !

First Of All Copy Following Script In Notepad.

Now, save the file with extention .vbs like speech.vbs or anything else.

In case of "hello There" you can type anything else if required.

C:\Users\%username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\

That’s it. This trick works on every edition of Windows 7. I am not sure whether this works in Vista or not, you can try and share your feedback. this trick doesn’t work on Windows XP SP1 machine.
